Kaylie.....?!!!!!!!?

These were just to hilarious not to post....you may have to turn of our blog music to hear the music she is dancin too.

Disneyland/California Adventure

As part of our thanksgiving trip this year we all planned to go to Disneyland together. My Brother-in-law found a great deal on tickets (admission to disneyland, california adventure, and fast passes) for $50 per person. The kids were beyond excited and had a blast. We got there early and stayed until midnight. The kids were great even when they got tired. Kue just rolled around in the stroller all day and didn't mind one bit. The kids keep asking when we can go back they loved it there.

After we parked we had to ride a little train to get to the front gates.

Riding the train to the front gates.

The rockets were the first ride of the day.

Kaylie was blasting away at Zurg on the buzz light year ride.

The train around the park was a big hit....especially for our nephews who LOVE trains.

Benny and the Kids with The Queen of Hearts... We had to convince Kaylie that she saw a princess since this was the only one we saw that day. Once we told her she was a queen she was happy with that.

Uncle Will, Lani, and Kaylie rode the teacups three times..... the girls loved it.

Seeing Minnie was the highlight of the whole day for Kaylie.

Kaylie and Goofy

Tre and Goofy

California Adventure....we went back and forth from one park to the other all day.

Lani, Uncle Stan, Kaylie, Eli all riding the merry-go-round

They had the coolest Pixar Parade, with Toy Story, nemo, Incredibles, A Bugs Life, Cars, and Monsters Inc. It was the coolest parade.

Lightning Mcqueen.

At about 8 pm we sent all the grand kids except Tre home with Grandma and Grandpa. We then rode all the adult rides. This ride was the tower of terror...it takes you up high and then just drops you. Tre loves big rides and was so beyond happy that he got to stay with all the adults.

Stan, Tre, Benny, and Will before we got on the Indiana Jones ride.
This is Tre's most favorite Uncle Will, once all the kids were gone they became riding buddies. Tre felt very important and loved being able to "hang" with uncle will.

Tre wanted to "drive" the Indiana Jones ride. He really thought he was driving. At one point the ride stopped and everyone was teasing him about breaking the car....He told me he felt bad and promised he didn't break it. I had to explain that the ride operators had stopped it...then he felt ok.
This was a really fun trip for our family.... Many good memories were made.

Thanksgiving vacation.....

We were able to go to California for Thanksgiving this year. This was the first time in three years that we were all able to be in the same place at the same time. It was so much fun being all together and just enjoying one another. Oh and the warm weather was such a bonus.
Eli, Kaylie, Lani, Tre....the cousins had a blast playing everyday.
Benny and his mom (grandma eta)......Momma's boy.
Kaylie, Lani, & Tre riding a clydsedale horse (Uncle Will)
Kue playing under a chair at a wedding we went to. No matter how many times I pulled him out from under there, he just kept going back.
Tre enjoying Grandmas ribs......he loves them.
Kaylie also enjoying ribs.....what can I say she loves to eat like her dad.
Aunty Leeneh and Kue......we were especially glad that Leeneh and Eta suprised us and finally got work off so they were able to come spend time with us.
There is a park right by there house so we took the kids a couple of times so they could run out their energy.
Benny and Will relaxing on the porch, playing the Uke.
Kue, Tre, Eli, Kaylie, Isaac, and Lani.......all the grand kids together.
Kue and Aunty Losilee...she took good care of him while we were there.

Kue's first hair cut

Kue's hair grew in a little crazy.... only the top was growing and he started to have a mohawk/mullet. So we decided to buzz and see if that would help it grow in better. Thanks
goodness it has helped.

This is Kue before.....

This is Kue after..... Much, much, better.

Basketball season already.

This is Tre's first year playing basketball. He is enjoying it and wants to practice at home all the time. It's definately interesting watching first graders try to figure out the sport, but as long as he has fun and learns fundamentals then that's all that matters.

Halloween

We were so glad to get home for halloween this year. We weren't supposed to be home but plans changed and we got home at five in the evening on halloween night. I had to run to the store and pick up one storm trooper costume. I'm glad the kids were able to trick or treat and have a fun night.

Dad making sure that Kue gets halloween candy...like Kue would really eat it. We know who its really for.

My Boys

This picture was to cute I couldn't resist posting it. Tre loves him so much and is such a good big brother. Those of you who knew us when Tre was 8 months old can see how much these to look alike.

Fire Prevention Week

Every year during fire prevention week, the fire department puts on a community awareness activity. Since grandpa is a fireman we always go and participate, and the kids absolutely love it. They crawl through smoke trailers to simulate what it would be like in a fire, they get to spray the hose and put out a fire, they watch a play, climb on the fire truck, and have snacks. They also get plenty of coloring pages about fire safety.

Flag football

Tre has started flag football. It is so cute to go and watch him play. I guess football season from here on out will be crazy for us. His very first game we just laughed because he had know idea what to do. Well, I laughed but it was killing Benny. But he is doing so much better and has scored two touch downs so far this season. He is loving it and loves even more that he and dad can go practice in the back yard. It's going to be a fun season.

Little Hula Dancers

We recently attended a luau with some of our friends. Kaylie and their daughter Kina have become such good friends. They had a great time dancing the night away at the Luau. They would stand and copy all of the moves the performers would do. I think I watched them as much as the show.

First day of School

This was Kaylie's first day of Preschool. She was so excited. The great part about her preschool is that it is located right next door.

Sitting and waiting for class to start.
I can not believe that we have a first grader. He is so excited to finally be going all day long so he can have lunch at school and have three recesses.

Getting on the bus.

Haka Time!!!!!

The Johnson family reunion always has a program/talent show ....this year Grandpa Johnson asked Benny to do the haka. He couldn't say no to grandpa so Tre and Benny did the haka as part of our family talent. I'm glad Benny is willing to things like this so Tre gets opportunities to learn part of his Polynesian culture.

The Childrens Museum

I found out that the Childrens Museum had free fridays so we thought we would go check it out. Lets just say I'm glad I didn't have to pay money to go there. The kids had a blast but it was so ghetto.

Kaylie loved blowing bubbles on the bubble wall. There was a pully that would lift the rod out of the water and there would be a wall of bubble to experiment with.

Tre, Tarzan, and Kiki also loving the bubble wall.

Kaylie playing in the toddler section.

I couldn't pull tre away from this. You could build ramps for marbles to roll down.

Kaylie played in the pinto beans.

Tre watching his marble go down the path he built.

They put on a good puppet show.

What imaginations they have.

Kaylie in the vets office. They could take care of all kind of animals.

The funnest thing was this cone that blew out air. You would put the ball on it and it would float. The kids discovered that tre's hat was fun to put on it as well. It would spin in the air. It would also blow your hair and cheeks in all sorts of directions.

Block races.

what? I have a blonde child.

Cowboy Tre
Working at the work shop.

This is what Kue thought of the whole thing.
