The Childrens Museum

I found out that the Childrens Museum had free fridays so we thought we would go check it out. Lets just say I'm glad I didn't have to pay money to go there. The kids had a blast but it was so ghetto.

Kaylie loved blowing bubbles on the bubble wall. There was a pully that would lift the rod out of the water and there would be a wall of bubble to experiment with.

Tre, Tarzan, and Kiki also loving the bubble wall.

Kaylie playing in the toddler section.

I couldn't pull tre away from this. You could build ramps for marbles to roll down.

Kaylie played in the pinto beans.

Tre watching his marble go down the path he built.

They put on a good puppet show.

What imaginations they have.

Kaylie in the vets office. They could take care of all kind of animals.

The funnest thing was this cone that blew out air. You would put the ball on it and it would float. The kids discovered that tre's hat was fun to put on it as well. It would spin in the air. It would also blow your hair and cheeks in all sorts of directions.

Block races.

what? I have a blonde child.

Cowboy Tre
Working at the work shop.

This is what Kue thought of the whole thing.

Bozeman Beach

So on a smaller scale Bozeman Beach is just like Rigby Lake. Tre was so confused though....he kept asking where the waves were. He knows what the "beach" in Cali really is.
Kue just hung out while the kids played.

All the kids checking out the water.

They decided to build a river.

They got way more comfortable in the water as time went on....can you see Kaylie. She looks like an aligator just barely above water.

It got so HOT, I took Kue in to cool off a little. He liked it. See how red his cheeks are.

The kids dug a little "lake" and put water in it. It was just the right size for Kue.

So tired. Look at that little chubby boy.

Downtown Festival

We heard about this festival that goes on every thursday in downtown bozeman. When we got there we realized that it was just an excuse for all the adults in town to drink. We did the childrens activities, which there were like four and then we left...quickly. Not really the best place for kids.

Kaylie getting face paint

She decided on a sparkly lady bug. But with in two min of getting it she decided that she wanted it off. So we pulled out the baby wipes and cleaned it right off.
Tre getting his face painted

A spider....of course he would get a spider.

Kaylie doing the bean bag throw.

Tre also doing the bean bag throw.

craft time

In my desperation to find things to do here in Bozeman I decided to buy some little crafts for the kids to paint. They enjoyed it and it took up some time in this boring town.
Kue watching everyone paint.

Kaylie is so particular about what she is doing.

Kix and Kiki.

Tre and Tarzan

Splash Park in Belgrade

Belgrade splash park is also very new. We had to drive about 15 min. (to another town) to get there but it was well worth it.
Kaylie finally dared go into the water. She called it the tree.

Tre had run through every splashing spraying thing and was cold so he was trying to warm up.
Tre spraying the water gun. This is what he played with a majority of the time.
I promise I did Kaylie's hair that day but as soon as we got there she got nailed on the head with one of those dumping buckets.....you can see them in the back ground to the left of her head. It took her by suprise and flat knocked her ponytail out. One of them hit Tre and pulled his pants right down. He was embarrassed everyone saw his little white bum. ( and yes it is white)

Kix was so sweet to take Kue through the water a little bit to help cool him down. It was so hot that day... he didn't really care for the cold water though.

Tre and Kiki playing.

Kaylie in the "tree" again.

Me trying to keep Kue shaded....his skin doesn't do as well in the sun compared to my other kids.

All the kiddos worn out and ready to go....

Kue's little laugh

I'm really not trying to embarass my husband by posting this clip. My little Kue baller was just so cute I had to post it. I'm not sure which is more entertaining...Kue or Benny. (Thank goodness benny is a good sport and doesn't get embarassed very easily.)

Dinosaur park in Bozeman

This is one of the newest childrens parks in bozeman... it opened about three weeks ago. It is called the dinosaur park, it has pictures of dinosaurs and info about different ones that were found in this area. This park was a big hit for the crew of children we had to entertain that day. We actually spent two afternoons in a row here because the weather was bad and couldn't go swimming.

This is a picture of the entire park It is actually alot bigger than it looks because it keeps going back.

Kaylie waiting her turn to dig.

The sand boxes had fossils in them, so the kids enjoyed digging to see what they could find.
Kaylie and Madison Peapealalo going to the top of the park.

One of the many slides the kids enjoyed.

They had a "tot lot" for kids five and under. Kue liked this swing.

So did Kaylie.

Tre wanted to take a pic by the dinosaur. This park is right up his alley. He loves dinosaurs and things like this.

A real gold medal!!!

The week after the fourth of July I had volleyball camp. Ryan Millar who won a gold medal on the mens volleyball team came and did a camp for my girls. It was such a good learning opportunity for our coaching staff and our girls. The camp lasted all day and all week long. It wa definately tiring but was tons of fun.

David Hyte, me, Ryan, and Mauna Rae. We look so short....and yes he isn't even standing up straight.

It was awesome to actually hold a real gold medal.

Mauna Rae, one of our coaches and a very good friend.

This is our Varsity and JV teams with a few freshman in the mix as well.
