April 27 Kue baller had to have tubes put in his ears. He wasn't very happy with the name tag on his wrist but we tried to distract him. The hospital gave him a stuffed animal and a new blanket.
His room had lots of murals of different farms animals that we got him to look at.
He enjoyed playing peek-a-boo with this curtain. But behind that curtain was the hall way which he would take off running down any chance he got. Almost like he knew something bad was about to happen.
The best part was these wagons. He spent most of the morning riding in this while benny pulled him around and around and around. He thought he was pretty important. He would wave at nurses and other hospital staff as he would roll by them.
Yes the wagon saved the day. Without getting his juice in the morning he could have been pretty cranky, but this kept him so occupied it was great.
He woke up from anesthesia pretty mad and didn't want anything to do with the hospital. They couldn't even get him to calm down to get his vitals before we left. As soon as I put his jammies back on and wrapped him in his blanket he was good to go.
