Happy Birthday Tre

I should not be old enough to have a six year old. I can't believe how fast time flies. Tre is such a good boy. He is sweet and kind, of course he loves to tease his sister, but that's what big brothers do. We spent the day going to McDonalds, Toys r us (so he could pick out his own present) , and making his favorite tacos for dinner. He also lost his second tooth. Happy Birthday Tre Boy. We love you.

Tre was once again spoiled by grandmas and grandpas and aunties and uncles.

I was told to make a dinosaur cake but most importantly it had to have a "Bolcano with Hot Laba" (v's are not one of his strong points)

Kue

KUE is finally here!!!!!

I woke up on the 29th having contractions they were so spaced out and so minor that I knew that it was nothing to serious. As the day progressed my contractions stayed the same and I wondered if things would actually move along. At about 6:00pm things changed, they were a little bit harder but still not to close together. I called Benny who was coaching his basketball team, and told him that he needed to come home. I also called my dad and asked him to come and get the kids. By the time my dad came and Benny got home I knew it was time to get to the hospital. We arrived at the hospital at 7 and we had a baby by 7:26. It was so fast and furious I barely got my IV, the doctor barely got there, and I had no time for any drugs. No matter the pain he was definately well worth it. He was 7 pounds and 6 ounces and 20 inches long. We decided on the name Bradley Kue Penisimani Kofe. But he will go by Kue pronounced "Q". We are so blessed to have him join our family.
Our cousin Miranda Johnson is an amazing photographer and did some pictures for us if your interested go to sweetpea-photography.blogspot.com and you can see a few of the pics she did.

Our Little Princess

Its Kaylie's birthday. It's amazing to think that she is three years old today. She is such a girly girl so we decided to let her get a real manicure and a pedicure. Needless to say she thought he was pretty special and important. Every birthday I let the kids pick what kind of birthday cake they want and she was determined to have a princess castle cake- so I did the best I could. Thank goodness she is three and thinks that I am amazing at making castle cakes.

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. This was after the kids decorated the christmas tree. They loved putting on all the ornaments (even though alot of them ended up on the same branch.)

Every Christmas Eve we go to Grandma and Grandpa Johnsons and the grand kids put on the Nativity while Grandpa reads it out of the scriptures. This year Tre was Joseph and Kaylie was the "Princess"/angel. Grandpa had to say princess or Kaylie and cousin Livi weren't going to be involved.

We also reached another milestone on Christmas Eve. Tre lost his first tooth. Can you imagine the excitement of Santa and the tooth fairy coming to our house on the same night. It was almost to much to handle.

Sledding

Since Uncle Will and Hene had never been sledding before we knew that we needed to take them while they were here for Christmas.

It was tough work for Kaylie walking through the snow with about eight layers of clothes on.

Uncle Hene

Poor daddy was the designated sled for Kaylie. She loved every minute of it but wouldn't go down by herself.
Tre went up and down the hill a million times. Just watching him made me tired.
Uncle Will

Taking a break before he had to walk all the way back up the hill.

8 WONDERFUL YEARS!!!!

Benny and I were married eight years ago Dec 22, 2000 in the Los Angeles Temple. (Yes thats right I had flowers and sunshine in December) Definately one of the best days of my life. You think at the time that you couldn't be more happy or more in love and yet eight years later I am happier and way more in love then I was that day. I have to wonder what I did to be so lucky to have ended up with Benny. I love you. Happy Anniversary.

Winter Fun!!!!

And the fun has begun. The snow is here, the cold is here, the crowded stores, the numerous "how many days until christmas?" question---- don't you just love the holiday season. The best part of christmas is spending time with family and friends. We love all of you and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!

Happy Halloween

Could you have expected anything else from my children. Of Course Kaylie was a Princess, (although she didn't need Halloween for an excuse-she is a princess everyday in her own mind). Tre was Ironman. They had a blast all week long going from pumpkin carving, carnivals, trunk-or-treats, ward parties, and trick-or-treating. Thank goodness Halloween night was warm. We didn't even have to wear coats over our costumes. Now that is amazing for Idaho!!!!

Update

Well this might be a boring post for most of you but I thought that I would just fill you all in on the last four weeks since I posted.
-- Benny is home!!!! I can't even explain the relief I feel to have him home. Although life hasn't slowed down much just having him here makes life seem so much easier. We love you daddy. We are so glad to have you back.
--Volleyball has been going since the middle of august and is keepin me very busy. I love coaching and love my girls. GO BOBCATS
--Football also started and is keeping Benny very busy. I think since we met and since we've been married (dating actually) we have only had one fall where we weren't both coaching or playing at the same time. It makes fall very busy.
--Also I guess I should let everyone know that we are expecting number Three. We just had our 20 week ultra sound everything turned out well and we will be expecting a baby the first week in feb. That is right we are half way through, Thank goodness!!!! (And no we are not finding out the sex of the baby)Tre wants a boy and Kaylie wants a girl so they fight quite often about it. Tre told me "Mom, I pray every night to jesus that he will send me a brother" So I don't know which of my children will have their prayer answered.
--Tre is loving Kindergarten and is learning so much. He especially loves riding the bus and recess. I guess he knows what is truly important. :) He also started soccer and is loving it. He has scored a few goals and is very competitive- imagine that, benny and I having competitive kids who would have thought.
--Kaylie just keeps us laughing, she always has something to say and has quite the attitude which I'm sure she gets from her dad:) Well you all know where she really gets it. She just keeps us on our toes.

Life is busy but going well. Hopefully I will do a better job at keeping up on our blog.
